بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Sura Tariq (86) Ayas 5-7 are given below:
فَلْيَنظُرِ الْإِنسَانُ مِمَّ خُلِقَ خُلِقَ مِن مَّاءٍ دَافِقٍ يَخْرُجُ مِن بَيْنِ الصُّلْبِ وَالتَّرَائِبِ
Thus, a human being should see from what he is created! (He is) created from flowing water, which emits from between the loins and the ribs.
Some people have objected to these Ayas, that the understanding does not conform to the current scientific knowledge. However, this objection is because they consider these Ayas as referring solely to male reproduction system.
Before we review these Ayats, please consider meanings of some words and phrases in above Ayas as given below:
‘Sulb’ (ص ل ب) is used in the meaning of ‘Loins’ when referring to one’s progeny. In Ayat 4:23, the word ‘Aslabikum’ is used in the sense of ‘Loins’, وَحَلَائِلُ أَبْنَائِكُمُ الَّذِينَ مِنْ أَصْلَابِكُمْ
As per Lane Arabic to English Dictionary (page 1712) , this word is used as ‘Loins’ when referring to one’s progeny.
‘Taraib’ mainly refers to the chest and rib bones area for both males and females but mostly for females. See Lane’s dictionary relevant page 301.
So the term ‘Bainas Sulbe wat-traib’ ( بَيْنِ الصُّلْبِ وَالتَّرَائِبِ), would mean between the loins and the chest/rib area. This is the area where female ‘Uterus’ and ‘ovaries’ are located in females.
We know that both males and females eject reproductive fluids in the reproductive process. The reproductive fluid from male is emitted from ‘Sulb’ (loins) area of male and in female from ‘Bainas Sulbe wat-traib’ (between loins and ribs) area. It is when both these fluids come together that a human being is created. Only male or female reproductive fluids alone would not create a human, rather when both these fluids come together and a unique ‘droplet’ is created. This happens in the female ‘Taraib’ area. The reference in the said Ayas is therefore, more likely in the context of female uterus which is located between the loins and the ribs.
Notes:
With reference to the Male reproductive system, the trigger mechanism or point of origin of orgasm is in the sacral nerve root found along the spine, located between the loins and chest area vertically.
Quote from Wikipedia:
‘The semen is ejected through the urethra with rhythmic contractions.[4] These rhythmic contractions are part of the male orgasm. They are generated by the bulbospongiosus and pubococcygeus muscles under the control of a spinal reflex at the level of the spinal nerves S2-4 via the pudendal nerve.
“‘Taraib’ mainly refers to the chest and rib bones area for both males and females but mostly for females. See Lane’s dictionary relevant page 301.” Salam/Peace, Which volume of page 301 in Lane’s Lexicon?

Salam/Peace there is a question i would like to ask, what are your thoughts on these articles, it’s not a must but i would like to hear your view on them, now one of them is accusing people for cheating the translation while the other is calm:

The Quran Message’s article is close to what I wrote in my post about this topic. Seems good. However, in light of this translation, the Ayat seems to hold both spiritually and biologically.
The linked in article’s translation is so far off from Arabic text, that I cannot relate to it, therefore cannot comment on it.

So far off the Arabic text? Kashif says that many meanings of Quran were switched from Arabic meanings to Persian meanings. What are your thoughts on that?
Don’t worry brother, take your time.

The understanding of Arabic speaking people on this Ayat is quite different from translation in Kashif’s article. Why would they be deluded by Persian meaning replacement. Any one can check the occurrence of word ‘Maa/Water’ in Quran and see what this word implies in all these occurrences.

Thanks Brother. Regarding Ayat 16:66, the Quora link explains very well production of milk in a cow. It is evident that production of milk in mammary glands of a cow is not an isolated process but well integrated with the digestion of the food and circulation of blood around mammary glands which is instrumental in the absorption of nutrients by the mammary glands and thus production of milk.
Regarding the article regarding Ayat 86:5-7, mainly people object when they consider water mentioned in the Ayat to be semen only. However man is produced by the reproductive fluids of both men and women and when this fluid travels from the loin area of men to the female reproductive parts.

Also brother can i ask you something? Can you make a post about responding to a “WikiIslam” claim about 96:15-16? I can link it here if you wish to respond to that article and i have some articles about frontal lobe when the person is lying (Nasiyatin – ناصية):

Dear brother, thanks for the request for the post for the said topic. I really appreciate that you considered me qualified to write about it and I greatly appreciate your keen-ness in responding to those who are intent to downplay Quran’s divine message. However, I can only write a post about a topic, when the Sprit of the Ayahs/Words of Allah inspires me and give me insight about it. The timings of which I cannot determine myself. Allah does show us His signs at appropriate times. Presently I don’t think I can add constructively to what is stated in those articles. I do apologize for that. I am working on 3 other topics though, and hopefully will be able to publish them soon. Thanks for your consideration.
